How have you been involved in the Magento ecosystem?
"I have been a magento developer since 2012. Was active answering forum questions on stack overflow.
Been active attending meet magento events. We’re a solid magento development agency. We have been training magento devs in PH and i would like to be elected to represent the southeast asia market. "
In what ways have you contributed to the Magento Association and/or other non-profit communities?
"I was active answering stack overflow queries before it moved to adobe.
Im an active member and officer of the lions club in the philippines where we regularly do charity works in our city.
We have started a program called dev team university (partnered with M.academy) where we train college students to learn Magento development. From grass roots. "
What value would you add to the Board to help us advance our mission?
I would like to represent the southeast asia. Be our main focal person in the area so the ecosystem grows in this part of the globe.
What are the top 3 initiatives you want to see the Board accomplish in the next 6 months?
1 Clear direction between adobe and magento (are they staying to support magento)
2 Continuity plan
3 Support and feature (roadmap)
What initiatives do you want to see the Magento Association focus on in the coming years?
Replacing luma theme and knockoutjs
What are the biggest challenges that you think the Association has faced and how would you approach them?
We need to see more of the organisation on socials, we need to shout the things you have been doing and implementing for you guys to be acknowledged and appreciated more.
What else would you like to share to either the Election Committee or the membership of the Magento Association as they review your application? What makes you a great candidate to join the Board of Directors?
To represent the southeast Asia market. To be able to get more traction in this area and possibly attract more members and merchants into magento. I want to help
