In what ways have you contributed to the Magento Association and/or other non-profit communities?

I am new to Magento Association, but I am currently an eCommerce Network Leader in Infor's TUG user group where we focus on growing our eCommerce environments with each other.  Many members are Adobe/Magento users, so we work together to grow our business together.  I would like to be more active in Magento Association, so that I can help share those experiences with the TUG Community as well.

What value would you add to the Board to help us advance our mission?

For 19 years I have worked at GSG in the distribution industry, and over the past few years I've helped grow our eCommerce platform.  I bring a strong understanding of what B2B customers want from a distributor, and I understand how important the eCommerce experience is to customers right now as they depend on it more now than ever before.

What are the top 3 initiatives you want to see the Board accomplish in the next 6 months?

Increasing engagement from more B2B Magento users, identifying the main opportunities and challenges B2B Magento users have, and establishing future education sessions with a specific focus on trending topics such as AI strategy and personalization wins.

What initiatives do you want to see the Magento Association focus on in the coming years?

Focusing on helping B2B leaders enhance their customer journey experience by helping them better showcase the value added services they provide to their customers.

What are the biggest challenges that you think the Association has faced and how would you approach them?

I'm new to the Magento Association, and I've been a Magento customer for over a year now.  I would do my best to help them attract more Magento users that may currently feel like they aren't technically inclined enough to be in this network.

What else would you like to share to either the Election Committee or the membership of the Magento Association as they review your application? What makes you a great candidate to join the Board of Directors?

I've always enjoyed learning from others a i believe "iron sharpens iron" when it comes to innovation.  While I've been fortunate enough to have worked with many professionals in the Infor TUG community I would love the opportunity to help bring Magento users together as the Magento platform has so far been a very valuable investment for GSG.
