How have you been involved in the Magento ecosystem?

I have been an active part of the Magento ecosystem since 2009, evolving from a Developer to my current role as CEO. I’ve been honored twice as a Magento Master for my contributions to the community. For the past seven years, I've organized Meet Magento India, fostering collaboration within the Magento ecosystem. Additionally, I've had the privilege of speaking at various Meet Magento events globally. As an official Adobe Commerce Trainer

In what ways have you contributed to the Magento Association and/or other non-profit communities?

I have contributed to the Magento Association and the broader community in several impactful ways, including:

- Organizing Meet Magento India, which has become a major event for the Magento ecosystem.

- Hosting the Magento Meetup Ahmedabad, fostering local collaboration and knowledge sharing.

- Leading the Magento Contribution Day at the national level in India to drive community-driven development.

- Speaking at various Meet Magento events globally, sharing insights and best practices with the community.

- Serving as a member of the Events Committee at the Magento Association, helping shape community engagement through events."

What value would you add to the Board to help us advance our mission?

I would add my experience of

- Organising the virtual and physical events

- Contribution Days

- How we can again gain the confidence of everyone and grow the Magento Community

- Increase the paid members

- As I am offical Adobe trainer, I can help the board to setup the community webinar and share the knowledge about Magento to the community.

What are the top 3 initiatives you want to see the Board accomplish in the next 6 months?

1. Increase the paid members

2. Share more technical content to the community

3. Magento is Alive news to everyone to grow the community

What initiatives do you want to see the Magento Association focus on in the coming years?

1. Do an yearly event like Magento Imagine.

2. Association can make an impact that Magento Open Source is still cost effective solution for merchants as compare to other sass and on premises platforms.

3. Increase the benefits for paid members.

4. Association will help to expand Magento to the countries where its not reached yet.

5. Association can do more knowledge sessions to Merchants and Developers.

6.Bring back Magento Masters or any other program to encourage the Magento Community to contribute back.

7. Do training sessions for college graduates to teach them Magento.

8. Do training sessions for Merchants to share the capabilities of Magento.

9. Awards for Merchants and Agencies.

What are the biggest challenges that you think the Association has faced and how would you approach them?

Association has faced the biggest challenge that after Adobe acquired Magento, people lost their trust and the Association not able to gain the confidence of the Magento Community.

This caused lots of people left the Magento Community and switch to other eCommerce Platforms.

I would like to do more engagements with the Community through events, webinars, and videos, sharing knowledge and tell them that Magento is still Alive, We are one of the best communities, Magento is not going to die and Developers/Merchant can do best in class Magento Websites.

What else would you like to share to either the Election Committee or the membership of the Magento Association as they review your application? What makes you a great candidate to join the Board of Directors?

I have been involved in the Magento Community since 2009. Attended, networked and spoke and multiple Meet Magento Events. I am an official Adobe Trainer so I can help the community and merchants with the capabilities of Magento by myself and get more community members who can share their knowledge to the community.

As I am 2X Magento Master, I would be interested in working with the Association to bring Magento Master or any other program that encourages Developer and Merchants.
