How have you been involved in the Magento ecosystem?

Yes, I'm deeply involved in Magento Open Source for ~12 years now.

In what ways have you contributed to the Magento Association and/or other non-profit communities?

In the past, I had limited involvement with the Magento Association, as I felt it operated somewhat like a closed group — particularly before recent leadership changes brought more transparency and openness. Fortunately, that perception has shifted.

Since then, I’ve become more engaged: my agency, qoliber, contributed technical work to support the Magento Association Hub. As a result of that involvement and ongoing collaboration, we’ve strengthened our relationship with the Association and are now listed among the Platinum Members. I also introduced a marketing expert (Ola) from my network to assist the Association with its marketing efforts.

Outside the Magento ecosystem, I’ve supported a local school by donating computers and hardware — reflecting my commitment to contributing meaningfully to both local and professional communities.

What value would you add to the Board to help us advance our mission?

Passion and leadership with a little drop adhd-driven-chaos. I'm very active in the community. Last two years I've been contributing and gathering feedback how to improve things for Magento Ecosystem.

What are the top 3 initiatives you want to see the Board accomplish in the next 6 months?

Bring back hackathons, get agencies to join Magento Association (with money and code contributions), bring back fun in contributions by creating Magent-Lab/ Magento Forge for developers to have fun, test ideas without politics being involved.

What initiatives do you want to see the Magento Association focus on in the coming years?

Make sure Magento is present on all large eCommerce related events, taking over Magento brand from Adobe and securing open-source future for everyone in the ecosystem.

What are the biggest challenges that you think the Association has faced and how would you approach them?

Lack of trust, lack of transparency, lack of actions. It is changing, but the biggest challange is to make people accountable and make sure that when people commit, they actually do the job. Magento Association from outside looks like a large "chat group". I understand that there are a lot of actions going on multiple levels but the community needs to see some real actions! Happy to say that I've started some of them and I'm excited to see they moving forward!

What else would you like to share to either the Election Committee or the membership of the Magento Association as they review your application? What makes you a great candidate to join the Board of Directors?

I bring a unique perspective and real action. As actions speak louder than words.
