Sanne Bolkenstein moved to Uganda after completing her studies, where she set up a company making washable sanitary pads, AFRIpads. When she returned to the Netherlands, she started working as an account manager for a software company in media monitoring, before moving to Dutch Magento hosting company Hypernode. Today, she works at Hypernode as a manager in sales and marketing where she combines her passion for networking and Magento to find new opportunities and markets for Hypernode to grow. Besides that, she is still involved in AFRIpads as chair of the AFRIpads Foundation, enjoys the Amsterdam perks, develops an ever-deepening affection for wine and cooking, and advocates for more diversity in the workplace.
