Meet the Newest Magento Association Board Member, Sonja Franz
And, Get Ready for the Connect Conference on 29 April
I'm excited to announce that Sonja Franz has joined the Magento Association (MA) Board of Directors. Sonja was a member of the initial task force to help form MA, and has now joined the Board to serve as a Director, kicking things off by supporting efforts to organize the upcoming Connect Conference event.
Sonja is a marketing manager at integer_net, a solution integrator based in Germany. She has been active in the Magento community since 2013, co-organising events such as local Magento meetups and MageUnconference, speaking at different events and promoting non-dev contributions to the community. Outside of her work, Sonja is currently finishing her Master's degree in communications and industrial psychology. When possible, she spends her free time ballroom dancing.
In addition to welcoming Sonja to the Board, my fellow Board members and I want to thank Rebecca Brocton, Kuba Zwolinski and Ben Marks for their service as inaugural members of the Board of Directors as they each step down to pursue other initiatives.
