You're invited to join us on Thursday, 21 October, for the second Magento Association (MA) Connect of 2021 — #MAConnect — which is sure to be an event you won't want to miss. Held virtually, this interactive event is filled with sessions and presentations brought to you by bright minds from our community. Here are six reasons to attend:
MA Town Hall
The Town Hall will kick off the day's sessions and is a great chance to learn updates about Magento Association from members of the Board of Directors. Get the 4-1-1 on what’s happened and what’s next. Plus, don't miss a chance for Q&A with those same Board members at 2:00 PM CDT to close the event and get your burning MA questions answered.
Keynote With Chris Hedge
Chris Hedge from Adobe will deliver a keynote on Magento Open Source followed by 30 minutes of Q&A. Recently, there has been much discussion around the future of Magento Open Source and many in the community have desired more insight from Adobe. We're excited that this keynote should answer that wish.
Hot Topic Coverage
Community members will present on a variety of hot topics, including: development (front-end, accessibility, PWA, GraphQL, debugging, etc.), artificial intelligence, merchant case studies, headless e-commerce, agency deep dives and more. Each session will be accompanied by a moderator that will pick up questions from the audience.
During the lunch hour, from 12:30–1:00 PM CDT, we're offering a Merchant Chat. This invite-only session is a new format for MA Connect, is exclusive to participating merchants and will be moderated by fellow merchant and MA Board Director Andrew Figgins.
Magento Open Source Panel
Picking up where we left at Meet Magento Poland four weeks ago (video below), the Magento Open Source Panel at 1:00 PM CDT will be a chance to share what's happened these last few weeks and discuss, in an open format, what’s next. The panel will feature Adobe Liaison to the Board Eric Erway.
Enjoy multiple opportunities to hang out and spend time with your friends in the MA community. Networking sessions are set aside for before, during and after the event. This is an increase in networking time over our last MA Connect at the request of past attendees.
